Frank D. Moates Elementary Blended Learning Magnet Academy serves students in grades K through five. In this academy, students learn through the blended learning station rotation model. Students are engaged in math and reading classes where teachers lead small groups, while other students are supported simultaneously with online instruction, or engaged in project-based learning (PBL) activities. The blended learning model aims to personalize the student learning experience and provide prescriptive learning opportunities tailor made to each student. Differentiation is key to the learning experience at Frank D Moates, where student-centered instruction is delivered daily in the classroom and enforced at home for deeper levels of study and exploration.
The application process is open December 15, 2020 though January 31, 2021.
